Hi! We are Rich and Ashton Howe, Owners of Howe’s Auto. We live in Frederick, Maryland with our beautiful daughter and two dogs. During COVID-19, we wanted to make life changes so we could spend more time together as a family. Thus, in 2020, Howe’s Auto was born. We love bringing our expertise of the automotive and customer service industries to our community here in Frederick and neighboring counties.

Growing up in Wisconsin, the smell of diesel and motor oils filled my childhood. Those days in the shops/garages with my dad and uncles were some of the best. Needless to say, I have quite a bit of history with working on cars. In 2020, with my wife Ashton at my side, I took my knowledge of the automotive industry to the next level, and opened Howe’s Auto. On my off time, you can find me sipping on whiskey and smoking meats, or relaxing with a cold beer on a tropical beach.

A Marylander most of my life, I’ve come to love this state and all it has to offer. However, my heart is at the beach. I enjoy spending our vacations at tropical locations in the Caribbean and on the coast of the Carolinas. When we’re not vacationing, you can find me working hard with my husband, Rich, on our business. I manage customer communications, scheduling, invoicing, parts, etc. I love being behind-the-scenes keeping this ‘engine’ chugging!
